Rendell de Kort is Partner and Chief Data Officer at Cornerstone Economics, a purposeful consulting firm that provides research based strategic insight and learning solutions with emphasis on social impact and financial viability. He earned his master’s degree (Msc) in Development Economics at the University of Manchester which followed a bachelor’s in Business Administration. Previously, he worked at the Centrale Bank van Aruba as an Economist. During this time, he developed an interest in advancing data capabilities in the R framework, which eventually lead to an opportunity to present his machine learning research at a Big Data conference of the Bank for International Settlements, which was subsequently featured on centralbanking.com “teaching machines to do monetary policy”.
